Emergency Response Coordinator

Location:  Towson, Md.
Status:  Full Time, Employee

MEDEX is a fast growing global company, offering immediate, full time opportunities for individuals with excellent customer service skills. Successful candidates will find themselves coordinating the services provided to members with medical, security and travel-related emergencies worldwide. The Emergency Response Coordinator is responsible for acting as a liaison among members, medical care providers and other services providers, family members, employers, insurance companies and other groups as part of a comprehensive response to requests for assistance. Whether it's coordinating an air ambulance evacuation out of Venezuela, finding an English-speaking physician specialist in Beijing, dealing with a stolen passport in Jakarta or keeping family members abreast of a patient’s status in Germany, the Emergency Response Coordinator effectively uses corporate resources to provide efficient, top quality assistance services.

Qualifications:

Outstanding customer service skills complemented with creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to plan well.
Ability to communicate a calm and organized approach while managing complex critical or emergency situations.
Ability to plan and coordinate the logistics of using multiple service providers to accomplish desired end result.
Ability to thrive in an exciting fast paced high stressed environment.
Excellent English oral and written communication skills; fluency in second language a requirement.
Ability to work well both independently and in teams, organizing and prioritizing responsibilities and maintaining a professional manner.
Ability and motivation to learn. Willingness to work weekends, holidays and night shift.

Intensive orientation will provide you with the knowledge you will require to be successful in this position.
